Choose A Important Part In The Book. -ETHAN LOWE
"If I had simply asked to miss the game before it started, Coach would have probably let me go spend time with Erin, no problem. But leaving the bench in the first quarter is unheard of." This is the part in the book where Erin is in the hospital and Finley wants to constantly visit her. Finley was such a good friend/boyfriend that he would give up his basketball game to go visit his friend in the hospital. I feel that this is a very important part in the book because it really shows how Finley is a great friend. I feel that the whole book is based on friendship. Even though Erin and Finley are both young they really both relized that when they started dating that they were gonna spend the rest of their lives with each other, which is exactly what they did. Erin and Finley are kind of a perfect example of high school sweethearts. They met their first year of high school and to this day, they are still dating. It wouldn't suprise me if one day they get married and have kids of their own. Finley is so caring and really just all around a good guy.
Funny or Puzzling part in the book- Blake Miller
If I had simply asked to
miss the game before it started, Coach would had probably let me go spend time
with Erin, no problem. But leaving the bench in the first quarter is unheard
of. This is a bit puzzling that Finley would ever quit basketball, because he’s
been playing basketball with Erin since he was a little kid. I just don’t get
why he would give up basketball, something he’s been doing his whole life. But,
I could see why he did that because Russ got his starting spot. He was probably
happy to see Russ happy with his starting position, though.

A important part of the book is when Finley is given $500 at the end of the. This is important, because it is probably his fathers life savings, because they live in a very poor Neighborhood. This is very heartwarming part, because he has lived a hard life and he is a single father who makes very little, and he has a very slim chance of making mkre money then you may think is possible. It all goes back to the point that thats more money than Finley has ever held in his hand at once

I Bo 21 is a complete psychopath and probably has schizophrenia, and ptsd which are linked in a way that is particularly hard to comprehend. He thinks he gets messages from space, and sends messages back that he can only here in his head. Then Finley came and everything turned upside down in this amazingly illustrated book. Finley and Boy21 have family members that were murdered. He and Boy21 have a very wierd relationship. Finley has to keep boy 21 from spilling his beans to everyone, because he promised his b-ball coach that he would help boy 21 and make him be quite about the Boy21 thing.
Finley is put through the challenge of being a person of integrity or a person of a losing attitude. He is worried almost all of the book that he will lose his starting spot on the team. Yet he doesn't see that Boy21 needs his help to brake this cycle of mental insanity and reality.
